Clinic Levels and Types
Beginner Clinic - 1 HourThe beginner classes are designed to help players understand the scoring, rules, and foundational techniques in order to get on a court and play recreational games. Students will also learn foundational skills such as the ready position, how to hold a paddle and technique on serve, returns and volleys. Instructors will provide players with safety information on equipment and court etiquette and attire. We will provide demo paddles and pickleballs. We suggest bringing your own water bottle and towel. This session is recommended for new players who have never played or tried playing a few times. (For players who are currently in the 1.0-1.5 skill levels) Click here to register
Advanced Beginner - 1 HourThis class is designed for those who have already completed a beginner session and reinforces basic strategy to familiarize themselves with the rules, scoring and court positioning. It is recommended for players who have only played a few times and feel like they are beginning to understand the game but would like to make sure they are playing correctly. Instructors will assist players with drills and game play to improve their foundational skills and doubles play through basic court positioning. (For players who are currently in the 2.5-2.49 skill levels ) Click here to register
Intermediate - 1 HourThis class is suited for players who are currently in the 3.0-3.49 skill levels and are looking to hit every ball with a purpose. This class focuses on technique and creating consistency and accuracy on multiple intermediate shot selections: dinking, third shot drives and drops, block volleys, overheads, lobs and court positioning. This class will also focus on understanding strategies behind these different shot selections. Click here to register
Advanced Intermediate - 1 HourThis class is suited for players who are currently in the 3.5 -3.99 skill levels and looking to advance their skills to compete against advanced players. This class focuses on technique and creating consistency and accuracy on multiple advanced shot selections: dinking, advanced court positioning, resets, dink volleys. This class will also focus on understanding strategies behind these different shot selections and making advanced decision making in game situations. (3.5 and above players looking to pass the 4.0 rating session should take this class). Click here to register
Beginner 4-Week SeriesWe are offering a series of four one-hour clinics (lessons) focused on teaching and developing skills and in-game strategies through drills and game playing. (Sessions are limited to 8 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants).These clinics run for 4 four weeks and are one hour per week. Click here to register
Advanced Beginner 4-Week SeriesThis clinic is best suited for the person who has only played a few times and feel they are beginning to understand the game but would like to make sure they are doing it right. The objective of this clinic is to assist the participants with drills to improve their foundational skills and teamwork through court positioning. Click here to register
